La Paloma cocktail
Drinks1 1/2 oz. White Tequila (2 oz. if not breakfast-oriented)
1 oz. Freshly squeezed Pink Grapefruit Juice
1/4 oz. Freshly squeezed Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Agave Syrup (or Simple Syrup: optional)
Pinch Kocher Salt
Dash Orange Bitters (optional)
Top: Grapefruit Soda
Glassware: Collins
Garnish: Salted Rimmed Glass; Pink Grapefruit Slice; and Lime Wedges
Methodology: Place ingredients in ice-filled Mixing Glass. Shake with ice and Double Strain into ice-filled Glassware. Top with Grapefruit Soda. Apply Garnish
Home-Made Simple Syrup
1 Part Granulated Sugar
1 Part Water Bring ingredients to a boil for 15 minutes, whilst stirring thoroughly. Let syrup cool to lukewarm temperature and refrigerate immediately
