Kelewele Punch | Ghana

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz ginger syrup
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Lime wheel and ginger slice for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker, combine dark rum, lime juice, pineapple juice, ginger syrup, and simple syrup with ice.
  2. Shake well until chilled.
  3. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel and a slice of fresh ginger.

4. African Sunrise (South Africa)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz brandy
  • 1/2 oz peach schnapps
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 1/2 oz grenadine
  • Ice
  • Orange slice for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. Pour brandy and peach schnapps over the ice.
  3. Add orange juice and gently stir.
  4. Slowly pour grenadine over the top to create a layered effect.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice.
